MCT coconut oil plays an important role in ketogenic diet. This is because it can fill up the fat in our body.

MCT (Medium Chain Triglyceride – Medium Chain Fatty Acid) uses relatively short carbon ring fatty acids.
These mainly include fatty acids from C6, which has 6 carbon rings, to C12, which has 12 carbon rings. Caproic acid, which is C6, is not preferred due to its unique odor, and Lauric acid, which is C12, is abundant in coconut oil. It is an ingredient, but because it is long, most of it is removed during the process of extracting MCT oil.
Therefore, most MCT oils mainly contain caprylic acid, which is C8, or capric acid (or decanoic acid, which is C10), and the higher the ratio of C8, the more preferred.
It would be better to use oil containing only C8, but it is expensive. So, I am eating food that is high in C8 and mixed with C10.
Since MCT oil itself is something that can hardly be obtained from nature, you should try taking one spoonful a day at first and gradually increase the amount.
At first, I took one spoonful and went to the bathroom often.

Once you get used to MCT oil, you can try cooking it in various ways.
I usually mix it with bulletproof coffee or sprinkle it on salads, etc.

There are various ways to consume it because it can be eaten by heating the oil and frying it.

Because I only need to get fat from coconut oil, I checked how much fat it contained.
It is essential to check nutritional information when eating not only coconut oil, but all foods.
If you do not eat alone but eat with your family, large-capacity products are expected to be more suitable.
Large-capacity products are sold at E-Mart Traders, Coupang, etc.
If you want to consume only pure C8, please refer to the products below. Of course, the price becomes very expensive.
Looking at it this way, it really is an expensive diet. It is said that ketogenic diet can be continued only when accepted as a lifestyle rather than a diet.
